Our pick of events for July and August are as follows:

Oakley Road Races – Saturday 6 July – 11:15am, £25 entry fee, 53 miles (part of the Women’s Team Series)

Ipswich BC Summer Breeze – Sunday 7 July – 1:30pm, £25 entry on the day, 44 miles, Suffolk

KWCC Maria Thompson Memorial RR – Saturday 13 July, 1:30pm, £22 entry fee, 50 miles, Surrey ***separate races for 2/3/4 women and junior women***

Fort Vale Colne Grand Prix – Tuesday 16 July – £30 entry on the day, 35 minutes, Lancashire – this has been included as the organisers are running a separate race for women for the first time.

Tour of Witheridge Moor – Sunday 21 July, 10:30am – £30 entry fee – 53 miles, Devon – usually a very competitive race.

Richie Milner Memorial Road Race – Sunday 28 July, 2pm – £27 entry fee, 2/3/4 women, 46 miles, Gloucestershire.

Berkhamsted CC Road Race – Sunday 28 July, 1:30pm – £25 entry fee, 2/3/4 women, 43 miles, Buckinghamshire.

The South Coast Classic – Sunday 28 July, 9am – £35 entry fee, 68 miles, Eastbourne – part of the National Road Series.

Bath CC Women’s Road Race – Sunday 4 August, 10:05am – £27 entry fee, 44 miles, 2/3/4 women, Wiltshire.

Rapha CC Road Race – Sunday 11 August, 2:00pm – £25 entry fee, 2/3/4 women, 55 miles, Essex.

Margaret Wright Memorial Road Races – Sunday 11 August, 9am – £25 entry fee, 2/3/4 women, 45 miles, Oxfordshire.

Duncan Murray Wines Road Race – Sunday 11 August, 10am – £20 entry fee, 50 miles, Northamptonshire – part of Women’s Team Series.

CC Sudbury Road Race – Sunday 18 August, 1:30pm – £20 entry fee, 2/3/4 women, 50 miles, Suffolk.

Ryedale Grasscrete Women’s Grand Prix – Sunday 18 August, 9:30am – £35 entry fee, 58 miles, North Yorkshire – part of Women’s National Road Series.

N-Fuse North West Junior Women’s Tour – Saturday 24 August to Monday 26 August – £70 entry fee, 3 day stage race, Lancashire – part of Junior Women’s Road Series.

Jam Cycling RT – Elimination Races – Monday 26 August, 9am – £32 entry fee, day of racing at Hillingdon, with heats and finals.

Bourne CiCle Festival Women’s Race – Saturday 31 August, 1pm – £30 entry fee, 71 miles, Lincolnshire.
